Art of Nurture comes to a close
After five successful years and much deliberation, we have taken the decision to bring our ‘Art of Nurture’ competition to an end.
We remain committed to providing support to local communities and throughout 2012, will continue to work with the wider Lloyds Banking Group on our community programmes. Lloyds Banking Group is the biggest corporate investor in UK communities and we invested £76m in 2010. Two examples of our recent support include:
- “Lloyds Scholars” (http://www.lloyds-scholars.com/) is a unique programme which supports selected students attending two of the top universities in the UK with financial support, paid internships, annual awards, and volunteer opportunities.
- Lloyds TSB Commercial is joining forces with the National Consortium of University Entrepreneurs (NACUE), to search for the best small businesses from more than 55,000 businesses being run by current or recent graduates.
Over the past five years, Art of Nurture has grown in success year on year, allowing us to make a real contribution to the art community, facilitating exposure for student and graduate artists to high profile judges and venues, nurturing creative talent, and providing funding for all winners and institutions
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those individuals and institutions who have supported us over the years and helped to make Art of Nurture such a resounding success. Particular thanks goes to our partners Arts & Business, a national not-for-profit arts agency dedicated to encouraging new and sustainable arts and business relationships.
