Small businesses throughout the UK should adopt cloud computing, as it allows them to spend less time managing their IT and more time focused on their business.
That's the opinion of technology expert Jeff Lorenz, who told CTV.ca that doing this could help small business owners dedicate their time to growth instead of IT.
"Cloud services offer many benefits to businesses: they enable your company to cut costs by not having to buy IT infrastructure up front, they allow IT staff to focus on more productive tasks..." said Lorenz.
"This all means that companies that adopt a cloud can focus on growing their business, rather than on managing their IT needs."
Furthermore, once this growth has been achieved, cloud systems can easily be scaled up to match the businesses' increased IT demands, he added.
Many small business owners may be inspired by Lorenz's comments; potentially researching the cloud computing options available to them. They may even consider using factoring services to free up the cash needed to make this important investment, given the cloud's myriad benefits to a business.
Lorenz concluded in The Glove and Mail by citing the additional advantages of investing in cloud computing; namely that businesses can improve their data security and outsource services like email or storage. This affords companies all the perks of technology without the hassle of having to manage them.
